My Favourite Time of Year

Well a Merry Christmas to all.

I admit the Christmas spirit has been very very slow in coming this year. Lots of reasons why but a stressed over busy mother doesn't help.

We have the tree up - I've begun a little shopping and the day is beginning to shape up so at this stage that's as good as it gets.

Todays project is to make some cards and do some sewing and baking that has been waiting patiently.

Highlight of the past couple of weeks was last nights year 6 graduation. My little girl looked beautiful. I was a very proud Mum and even Brad got into the spirit of things and joined in the parents dance (with a little prepractice). Took some pics and video so will post when able. She didn't win any great awards but did recieve a special accolade as having the 2nd best maths score in the school which put her into the top 25% in the state.

So off to high school next year where hopefully she will feel happy and confident enough to shine.
