2 Truths : Not sure on this one are we talking confessions? I'll go inane to play it safe - 1. I'm addicted to crunch things, potato chips, hard lollies, crisp toast, nacho's, etc. 2. My dry wicked sense of homour gets me into trouble too often.

2 Physical things that appeal to me in the oppostie sex : Ok - full of contrasts here but I can't help it. Can't go past a well dressed well groomed older looking guy - and then just as equally the rough and rugged, long haired young looking thing as well.

2 Fav. Hobbies : Cooking - love to cook when I don't have to and don't have to please all 5 fussy family members. Reading - if it has been printed in English and holds some decorum of interest I'll read it.

2 Things I want really badly : Brad to get his dream job and realize that all really is well with his world. A definative guide on how to be a good Mum and get it right 90% of the time. The last 10% we'll call personal growth :)

2 Places I want to Vacation : Africa and the High Seas (I want to take a long cruise sometime)

2 Things I want to do before I die : Live in Jersey (the Channel Islands, Jersey), Love my hubby more each day.

2 Things that make me a "chick" : I'm a sap - cry all the time - commercials can even make me cry. Love anything that has a floral / beautiful scent to it, perfumes, candles, fresh flowers etc.

2 Things I am thinking about right now : Must answer emails I have been avoiding answering. Must get off this computer and tidy up the kitchen.

Places I shop : Mornington Main Street Wednesday Markets. Safeway - my home away from home.

Well I could just leave you with that thought - or I should say statement today but I won't do that.

You know I often think of a little something that I could say on this blog and by the time I get the energy and gumption up to do it I've forgotten all about the previously mentioned gem of wisdom. Ohhh well.

Thoughts for today - I think I'm getting old, well not soooo old that I need assistance with anything or that the grey matter is seriously effected but old enough that I am getting extra nostalgic.

I love listening to old music, you know my music, you know the stuff that isn't hip and modern. I love running into things that are the old part of me, that used to occupy the same space as me. I love hearing about old friends and thinking about places I've been and would love to visit again. New places - new friends - new stuff - well yes they do hold some appeal but not enough to entice me from my nostaglic ways.

Ok - think about something or someone old that you love today.

Well things I know - or think I know - or may have heard or experienced at some time. In other words -don't hold me to any of these.

1. Dreams really do come true : with lots of hard hard work.
2. It is possible to meet and marry and live with your soul mate for eternity.
3. Children unfortunately NEVER stop growing and changing and you can do NOTHING about it.
4. This world will one day know peace and I can do a little something to create a peaceful life for the ones I know and love.
5. Scrappin with friends is 100% better than scrappin alone.

Recovery Musings

YAY for ISC - well for most of it - the airports, the traveling and the lack of time to catch up with all my buddies - not YAY for them but we will take the good with the bad and be a greatful soul today.

Loved coming home to my little ones, I tell you sometimes I'm away and I don't feel those - what are they up to pangs much at all, but then others, like this time, I just miss em. I'm putting this down to three things in no particular order :) :

1. Shared room with my bud Kate who was away from her Miss G for the first time and understandably missing her little sweet babe.
2. Falling in love with scrapbooking all over again - I tell ya I do this too much - now and again I think what the heck am I doing with all this paper and glue and weird stuff, but then I remember all the little faces and toes and places I love in my books and I want it all to never end.
3. Having a good "girlfriend" cry with Max and E. and Kate and Cheryl and Anita and co (well about 200 women actually). And having a good "be grateful" cry with the gorgeous Heidi Grace.

Ok recovery musings from airport experiences.

1. Don't let anyone convince you that you have missed your flight - if that big metal thing is still taking up ground space then there is hope. (OK - this did not work this time and will probably never work unless Brad makes it to the CEO level of a majoy airline, but there is ALWAYS hope).
2. Love that Virgin terminals have Boost bars - my new fav. as of this weekend is the choc raspberry smoothie.
3. No one smiles in airports - especially at the baggage clain belt - must hate them as much as me.
4. Men who carry guitar cases wear white inappropriate shoes.
5. The airport maintenance guys are hot.
6. The fat man sitting next to me with his feet up on his case could vastly improve his appearance by having a hair cut and by taking said feet off the case.
7. Platform shoes are definately way "in".
8. There is no interesting "oversized" baggage being moved today - was hoping for some weird sporting equimpment, home decor items or gigantuen hat boxes from the races.
9. Pink shirt and 3/4 legnth tight jeans on a guy - "I don't think so".
10. Toddlers are clever little creatures - know how to get a free ride - how to get picked up when required and how to hold onto a packet of chips at the same time - clever little people!

See - told you I had too much time at the airport this trip.
