All my hats

Wore all of them today - but I kept it slow and easy. Woke up feeling yucky again and the kids and I hung around in out jammies making a mess till about 11 - yikes. It's what I love most about school holidays, not having to be up and out and ready and packed at some too early hour.

Highlight of the day was a walk down main street market. Every Wed. is market day in Mornington and for a foodie like me it is heaven. Today I stopped by the gorgeous old greek lady and bought some delicious morsel that I will not even try to spell and would never attempt to pronunce - I just point at the one I want and smile and she gets me :) Lots of gorgeous fresh green and red things today too, asparagus, field tomotoes that tasted the best and bazzill - I made pesto :)

OK - well enough food stuff from me, but then a good food day is a good day isn't it?

May your news be good news.

Sometimes it's good - I think?

To make a change. To try something new, to experiment with the way your life is headed. Sounds very philosophical doesn't it? It's not meant to be, but I thought it was time for a change. The first 34 years of my life, I've lived in relative seclution, maybe a little public / or shared scrutiny will be good for me. Hopefully something will come out of all this blogging.

Me today - well I felt ill, don't know exactly why. I did acomplish a few things. Some scrapbooking, class projects, emails and the like. Did a craft activity with the kids - well set it up and let them at it. I love that they are all old enough now to make their own mess responsibly. Having said that I am feeling a little old this week. Sage my eldest turned 12 yesterday and my gorgeous little girl is blossoming into a young woman. Wish the blossoming came without the mood swings and rolling eyes.

May your news be good news :)
